WHAT THIS POSITION IS about - PURPOSE

Performs professional field and office engineering work related to the planning, design, construction and maintenance of building and facilities  

Perform and support all maintenace activities in building and facility area, including maintenance programmes improvement Managing plant utilities and building/facilities to ensure their optimum functioning and performanceProvide needed technical support for other departmentEnsure timely preventive maintenace following plan and delivering planned cash flow Support activities in the area of compliance and licences/permites related to buildings and facilities  

WHAT WILL YOU DO - RESPONSIBILITIES

Plan and execute electrical preventive maintenace on equipment. Perform conditional monitoring on equipments Monitor and analyze  equipment performance in order to identify areas of improvement Supervise contractors and ensure work according to company procedures. Ensure all installations are neat and comply to installation standards.Responsible to support execution of plant wide energy savings programs and minimizing environmental impacts on land, air and waterMonitor all KPIs associated with building and utilities and produce monthly reports including EHS reports. Ensure collection of energy data, analysis and advise improvement so as to optimize energy usage.Supervise the 3rd party manpower, plan related duties and propose training /skills requirement to improve performance.Perform any other tasks commissioned by the supervisor. Compliance with EHS procedures, labour law, corporate guidance, internal regulations and work performance instructions.Understand health and safety aspects of their work and learn about potential hazards, know and maintain required control measures in order to keep their workplace healthy and safe.Develop their competency to do the work healthy and safely, participate in health and safety training and receive appropriate health and safety knowledge and required qualifications, observe and follow safety signs, posters, warning signals, and written directions and instructions.Know Legal and JTI health and safety requirements associated with the work hazards and comply with all applicable health and safety rules and procedures.Always demonstrate safe behavior, report incidents and near misses to their supervisor, report identified unsafe conditions and behaviors to their supervisor and eliminate them within their authority and ability to do so.

Candidate must be a graduate of BS Electrical Engineering or any engineering related courseMinimum of 3 years experience in a similar position or in related fieldGood command of speaking and writing English languageFunctional skills required: project management, problem solving, and knowledge on local and global  standards-
