Sourcing Supervisor

The primary responsibility of this position is the purchasing of assigned direct commodities in PQ PHP to ensure an uninterrupted and timely supply at optimum cost and quality. This position supports the Supply Chain Manager to define PQ Philippine Plant requirements and participates in the selection and relationship building with key suppliers to leverage Eaton’s purchases and reduce costs across all business units.

Your essential responsibilities:

Handle local suppliers’ direct materials e.g., metals, plastics packaging and other locally sourced materialsCollaborates with stakeholders to achieve assigned special projects and or initiative outcomesSupplier base development, prequalification and management to ensure cost-effective supply with consistent quality and acceptable service & delivery levels;In compliance with Eaton procurement policy and T&Cs; Monitors and reports Operations’ compliance to service agreements and strategyAssist all functions in negotiating long-term contracts to ensure optimal supply and cost structures as well as fillingData collection and analysis with accuracy, with ERP system maintenance, if needed.Support APAC manager to establish and leads regional/country cross-functional, multi-operation supplier selection processKeep efficient communication within the user department and SCM interfacesResponsible for monthly reports regarding indirect outsourcing & procurement activities as well as Oracle data maintenanceLiaison with all levels of Eaton businesses and external vendors/suppliers whilst maintaining excellent customer relationships;Drive the regular plant SCM communication such as council meetings and provide coaching to plant SCM.
