AUTOMATION ENGINEER (AL OULA STEEL)

Job Responsibilities:

Process control systems and process control related tasks Programmable Logic Controls (PLC), and Human Machine Interfaces (HMI), and related equipment using electrical test equipment, circuit diagrams, schematics and blueprints.Create and maintain a working environment for people to achieve excellence Maintenance &KPI targetInitiate and implement continuous improvement projects within timelineResponsible for the upkeep and maintenance of HV and MV panels, Transformers, generator, diesel Pumps and Drive units Maintain all electrical equipment’s, field instruments, Motors, ABB drives, SIEMENS PLC, HMI, RIO.Assist with PLC/DCS programming activities & in troubleshootingAttend to process failures and ensure speedy recovery of processes Scheduling Maintenance plan and man power Failure analysis and critical spare management. Monthly software backup to be stored in shared server.Support in achieving production and cost targets for Maintenance Dept. Maintain and improve safety and quality standards (ISO 9001, 18001) Improve and maintain cross functional customer relationshipsAdvise and assist Engineering and Maintenance Manager on commissioning & operational issues. Fulfil standby duties as per schedule Perform safety audits of electrical Personnel and ensure they are in compliance with all safety requirements.Develop spare part management and inventory control Upkeep and improvement of all software related changes for process related activities and Manage software programs

Qualifications:

A minimum of 5 year(s) of working experience is required.Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Engineering(Electrical/Electronic); Engineering(Industrial); Engineering(Mechanical) or similar fields.Knowledge of Hot Rolling Line processes. Experience with the PLCs.Must have proven experience with HMI and SCADA softwareProficient in English (speaking and writing)
