Production Officer

The Production Officer oversees Fresh produce category operations. The Production Officer is tasked to guarantee a smooth, efficient, safe production line, and quality products by monitoring employees and organizing workflows

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Plans and organizes production by setting daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicate them to the Production Assistants and other stake holdersMonitors production output versus committed targetsEnsures accurate inventory of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods.Maintains sufficient supply of production inputs and finished goods.Conducts regular equipment and facility maintenance.Carries-out verification of in-line quality checks conducted by the Production Assistants.Ensures accurate and on-time delivery of goods to storesSubmits on-time, complete, and accurate production and performance reportsEncodes on-time, complete and accurate production output to the company’s inventory database (ERP)Identifies issues in efficiency and suggest improvements

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture, Food Tech, Industrial Engineering, Business Managment, and any Science course.Minimum 2 years experience in production, manufacturing, warehousing, supply chain management or similar role.Experience in using various types of production machinery and tools.Organizational and leadership skills.Communication and interpersonal skills.Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.Problem-solving skills.
