Job Summary

This position is a production helper position responsible for the completion of tasks involving fabricating and manufacturing of sheet metal parts and assembly. We are looking for production helpers for Mig welding machine welder , CNC turret punching operators, shears, press brake operators, laser cutting operators and powder coating and general machine operation.Learn, set ups, operates and maintains erection and assemble of products using Welding MachinesUse of tools such as drills, screw drivers, clamps, wrenches for assembly.Maintains system as required by production to insure an uninterrupted process.Perform preventive maintenance per schedules as required.Also perform other work-related duties as assigned.Must be accountable for operation and maintenance of machinery in accordance with production requirements.

 PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Operate assigned machineDo quality checks, control shop paperwork, meet production standardsAssist in setupsPackage finished partsDo Assembly of metal cabinets

 ADDITIonAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Notify supervisor when issues ariseOperate within standard operating procedures and job safety analysisMaintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulationsAttend safety department meetings.Accomplished daily reporting of machine usage and productionCommunicate with supervisors and other team members throughout their shift to ensure daily tasks are clearAbility to understand and follow written and verbal instructionsAbility to adapt to a changing environment

 Qualifications: * High school graduate or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Must be able to lift and carry 80 pounds.Must have high level of hand/eye coordination, capable of standing, bending, and stooping for long periods of time, and ability to work with various tools used in repairing machine.Mechanical aptitude, decision-making, and problem solving capabilities also required.TESDA NC-II certificate is an advantage.
