Roles and Responsibilities: 

To be technically knowledgeable in the complete functions / operations of the Machine/s under your charge. Must have the capabilities of trouble shooting press problems. Must have the ability to undertake a complete "make-ready" / set up of the press involved. Must print a quality product which meets the Customer requirementsThe understanding of inks / solvents and color matchingThe control of ink viscosity and mixing / matchingThe understanding of film properties and its behavior in the PressEnsuring correct output and recording of daily recordsTo provide proper "On the Job" Training and guidance for any other co-workersAssisting in the maintenance of the machines under your charge and reporting all issuesThe proper utilization and safe keeping of all tools and machineryThe proper transfer of duties at the time of "Shift Change"The cleanliness of the machine and areaAssist in the cleaning, washing, storing, and assembly of Printing Carts and AccessoriesOperation of machine panel, controls, recorder, viscosity controller, solvent and ink line supply, heater, chiller, unwinder, rewinder, Eltromat camera and other control/operation panel of the machine.Assembly of Doctor Blade, Splash guards, transfer rollers, and other parts.Assist in loading and unloading of inks into the ink tanks, carts,Ensure cleanliness of all machine panels, frame, rollers, dryer hoods, idler roller, floors, ducting /piping, and other parts of machine every shift.The proper segregation and disposal of printing waste, liquid, and hazardous waste.Upon request from your supervisor or manager you may be required to support other areas in the operational process
