SOFTWARE QA ANALYST LEAD (WFH)

The Quality Assurance Lead will be responsible for leading manual and automated testing efforts using best practices. This position will oversee the Quality Assurance and Testing deliverables of various process and support quality initiatives for all areas of software project life cycle which includes planning, requirement review, design review, development review, release management, testing, UAT support, production deployment and production support.KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Automate Functional test, regression test, Unit test, Performance test and Load test for API, Web application, Database, Web services.Participate in design and code reviews of automation project.Convert existing manual tests into automated test scripts.Perform Black box testing, integration testing and other type of testing.Perform white box test and code inspection by comparing source control changes and reviewing of code changes.Maintain the health of the QA, UAT, Training and Demo environment.Assure the release process is tightly managed during SDLC cycle.Capture, analyze and own defects through resolution.Report Quality Matrix for all initiatives.Complete development and testing effort within timelines and budgets identified by the team.Conduct peer reviews of test plans, test procedures, and test scripts.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:                 

Experience in testing of large scale database applications using SQL.Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve data, system issues and performance issues.Experience in data validation concepts, and SQL validation.Experience of Microsoft Test Manager, TFS, Jira, SharepointExperience in regression, integration, system, stress and performance QA testing.Experience in Managing Software Applications, Services Deployments, setup and Release management.Ability to work well in a team environment and able to resolve any technical conflicts.Experience in automation tools like Selenium.Experience with the SEI-CMM (Capability Maturity Model), SDLC (System Development Life Cycle), Agile Development Methodology is preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent.At least 5 to 10 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.At least 2 years of lead experience in the related fieldAt least 8 yrs. and up experience specializing in front/back end testing.Applicants must be willing to work in the graveyard shift or other schedules as required by business needs.Applicants must be willing to work in Mandaluyong City. Work at home set up until return to site.-
