Industrial Engineer/Production Supervisor

TITLE: PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR/INDUSTRIAL ENGINEER

JOB SUMMARY: The Production Supervisor/Industrial Engineer is responsible for providing technical expertise and managing all projects relevant to process improvement, effectiveness, efficiency, and other special projects required by the Management.

The Production Supervisor is tasked to oversee and manage the operation of the manufacturing plant in terms of productivity, quality, and Inventory.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Leads, plans, organize and control the unit operationsCheck prepared production schedule of manpower to ensure effective attainment of set goalsAdminister all work according to the set Standard Operating Procedures and recommend improvement of the process.Regularly coordinates with the Warehouse and Purchasing team regarding matters concerning stocks, unit status, and delivery.Check results of qualitative check for all incoming Packaging Materials and provide necessary QA stickers  Reviews and approves Work Orders/Production Loading Schedules.Conducts random checking that all prepared/processed materials needed for production passed thru quality control check and evaluationReview and approved test results, product descriptions /specifications, and procedures in a standard format and compile formulation sheetSupervises QA/QC tasks in establishing quality control standards in the manufacturing process and output.Coordinate with Maintenance Team to ensure all machines and equipment are always in good working condition to prevent delays in the production process.Monitors manpower count to align line-up with target production output (Make manpower request as per needed)Monitors attendance and vacation leave schedules of employees to ensure no disruption in production schedulesCollect and compile data and report about productionCompile monitoring of production daily outputEnsures proper implementation of GMP by proper monitoring of Production Personnel’s compliance.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Industrial EngineeringWith product costing and production planning background preferably in the skincare/pharmaceutical manufacturing companyAt least 2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.Understand the manufacturing plant’s costing breakdown and its relevant production operations and processes.With basic knowledge in assembly operations, flow, equipment & materials, Productivity, Time and Motion ActivitiesProficient in forecasting and material requirement planningWith strong leadership, communication, and people management skills.Must be detail-oriented, highly organized, and can handle work pressureWilling to work in Quezon City (Near Banawe)-
