Procurement Sr. Associate

Job Summary:

Performs functions related to purchasing and/or supply of general goods as well as clerical related to PO/CPO.

Duties & Responsibilities:

A. Management of goods

Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, best practices, and procurement guidelines

B. Procurement review

Review and evaluate complete specification under general supply of goodsPromote good procurement practice supporting requestors in allocated budget areas

C. Conduct overall goods procurement

Review the sufficiency of the information provided in PRDiscuss with the requestor for additional information, if necessaryIdentify prospective suppliersIssue requests for proposal/ canvassingReceive and evaluate offersPrepare Purchase Order (PO) to selected supplierIssue Purchase Order (PO)

D. Monitor delivery of goods

Expedite timely delivery of materials/ goodsMonitor all outstanding purchase orders and requisitions

E. Compile documents related to delivered goods

Maintain all the files of each transaction

F. Assist other members with the critical requirements and urgent requirements

G. document safekeeping of POs (scanning and filing)

H. Ensure that all documents are secured and transmitted on time for payment processing

Qualifications:

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in any business courseKnowledgeable in the end-to-end procurement process of services - bidding, negotiation, contract administration, and accreditation of vendorsHas a background in reviewing and evaluating procurement of services related to constructionHas excellent communication skills both oral and writtenAt least 2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this positionApplicants must be willing to work in Caloocan City
