Quantity Surveyor (Civil Engineer)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Estimate / forecast the cost of the different materials needed for the projectPrepare tender documents, budgets, bill of materials/quantities and other documentationTracks changes to the design and/or construction work and adjusts budget projections accordinglyInitiates subcontractor bidding to undertake the various works in the construction projectConducts site inspection to check work accomplishment and recommends payment to subcontractorsLiaise with client and other professionals involved in the project constructionGenerate cost reportsQUALIFICATIONS:Licensed Engineer (Civil)At least five (5) years work experience in quantity surveying/cost engineering gained from reputable construction companies involved in local Hi-Rise Construction projects.Attention to details, results-driven, self-motivatedAdvanced computer skillsKnowledge of Philippine standards in quantity surveying and cost engineering
