职位描述

The Grounds Maintenance Head is responsible for monitoring critical maintenance activities for grounds and facilities within the area. He/she is in charge of ensuring that the team members are efficiently performing their roles and our grounds are clean and at par with world-class standards.

The Grounds Maintenance Head shall take the lead in the following tasks, among others:

Supervise team members and monitor project progress;Plan and schedule daily and weekly maintenance activities;Ensure the effective, clean, and landscaped maintenance of grounds and facilities within the area;Development of Areas around the georeserve;Conduct timely performance evaluations;Support the Reforestation Officer in reaching tree planting targets;Other important tasks he or she may be assigned to by the Project Manager

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering, Forestry or any related allied courses;Hands-on exposure and experience in grounds maintenance;Passion for environmental conservation and the outdoors;Physical fitness and stamina for long hikes;Eager to learn;Ability to systematize and implement monitoring processes;Critical thinking and problem-solving skills;Strong leadership skills for managing a team with rural community members;Excellent communication and presentation skills;Willingness to work in a remote location;Experience in field monitoring and maintenance is not mandatory and may be learned from the Project Manager

Full-time, Permanent

Note: The role is primarily based in the georeserve in Baras, Rizal (1.5 hours from the city) from Tuesday to Saturday. Modest quarters on-site are provided.
