Sr. Quantity Surveyor

Summary

We are looking for a goal-driven, experienced, and knowledgeable Senior Quantity Surveyor for architectural, civil, and structural (CSA) works who can deliver results accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities:

Preparation of the Statement of Probable Project Construction Cost (SPPCC)Preparation of Program of Works (POW)Preparation of Detailed Unit Price Analysis (DUPA)Preparation of Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) of projects to be designed by the firm

Day-to-day functions of the role:

Prepare Quantity Take-Offs based on architectural and structural plans to an acceptable accuracyPrepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) based on the sameRequest, canvass and source materials and equipment quotations from preferred suppliersProvide cost estimates based on supplier’s cost proposals, industry standards and market valueReview/analyze design plans and/or construction drawings and ensure that all items were appropriately considered in the plans and BOQ prior to submission to clientsCoordinate with other trade estimators, team members and design consultants on project requirements to successfully produce contract documents such as SPPCC / POW / DUPA / ABC for submission to the clientsConduct site inspection, as necessary in the preparation of estimatesProduce/perform other deliverables as required by each project’s Terms of Reference

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be:

Licensed Civil Engineer or ArchitectWith at least five (5) years of experience in quantity/cost engineering (specially of buildings from start of construction up to turn-over)With experience in Contractor and Government projects is an advantageKnowledgeable and proficient in the use of design and/or estimating software (e.g., MS Excel, AutoCAD, Planswift, etc.)Living within Metro Manila is an advantageDemonstrating a strong work ethic
