New Media Officer

JOB SUMMARY

The New Media Officer is responsible for managing the Company’s online platforms and leading the creation of engaging content to promote the brand, boost awareness, and increase customer engagement.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Work with the team to come up with ideas for original and engaging content for the Company’s online platforms.Plan and coordinate the set-up, shoot, production, editing, and release of digital content. Write, edit, and proofread content, captions, scripts, etc.Research and understand the target audience and use this information to plan and create targeted content across specific social media platforms and grow user engagement.Manage multiple projects and ensure that work is delivered on time, to the required level of quality, and within budget.

QUALIFICATIONS

At least three (3) years experience  in social media management, digital marketing, online content production, or other similar fields.Highly creative Excellent verbal and written communication skills Advanced understanding of various online content platforms (e.g. Youtube, Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, etc.)Working understanding of video and photo editing software and applicationsCan adapt to the latest trends in digital content creation and social mediaMust have a keen eye and taste for good audio-visual work.
