Senior Software Developer (.NET) – Hybrid

UMS Group is seeking passionate and creative full stack senior developers/programmers to join our .NET digital solutions team in Manila. The Senior Software Developer will perform programming and help provide the overall technical vision/direction for applications that help utilities optimize value, manage risk, and predict system needs. Our solutions are driving performance improvement and leadership in the global energy transition.The programming team supports our existing global user base and develops new applications and functionalities. The team works closely with management staff of the US-based Product Group. Although the team has been operating for over 5 years, this position affords a unique opportunity to work in an exciting start-up type environment within an established company, with opportunities for significant contribution and to truly make an impact on the applications and processes. Duties and Responsibilities:

Key team member along with 6+ other programmers (including Team Lead), helping to manage daily work and delivery schedules.Help provide technical vision and direction for the development, design, and systems integration for application development and client engagement from definition phase through implementation.Apply significant knowledge of IT/software industry trends and developments to improve application.Perform analysis, design, and development of applications utilizing primarily C#, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, MVC, Javascript, JQuery, DevExpress, and Oracle.Develop software programs and features based on design documents and adhering to industry standards.Engage with clients for installation support and re-installation/issue support.Recognize system deficiencies and implement effective solutions.Support marketing in terms of answering technical / IT questions.Perform unit testing of software.Participate in peer code reviews and mentor junior developers.Participate in a daily status call with US Product Group. 

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Computer Engineering preferred5+ years relevant work experienceExperience with C#, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, MVC, Javascript, JQuery, Oracle queries and stored proc developmentExcellent English communication skills - spoken and writtenMust be able to work independently with minimal supervisionWilling to work in Quezon City, 1pm-10pm (all employees currently working remotely)
