Junior React Native Engineer, scripting Focused

Our team works on an innovative, highly dynamic web banking application with a quickly growing user base. We strive to deliver the best experience for our users and customers while also maintaining a code base that is as simple and clean as we can make it. We work closely with product management and other teams throughout the life of a project.

Responsibilities:

·      Write modern front-end Javascript using frameworks and libraries such as React, Redux, and Immutable

·      Implement new features while prioritizing user experience and modern design

·      Refactor existing code and fix bugs while prioritizing stability, consistency, and simplicity

·      Communicate and collaborate with other teams, both technical and non-technical

Requirements:

·      1 - 3 years of experience in developing web-based user interfaces

·      Javascript proficiency

·      Write maintainable code in a functional style

Ideal Experience:

·      Web or UI programming with an emphasis on user experience

·      Current Javascript frameworks, tools, and methodologies, such as React Native, Redux, and ES6/Typescript

·      HTML5 and CSS3, particularly flexbox

·      Functional programming

·      Unit testing

·      Git or similar tools

·      Single-page web applications

·      NodeJS and server-side Javascript
