Senior System Engineer

Role description

Overall System Integration in turnkey railway projects, in order to meet the requirements imposed by the contracts either for the Tender and Backlog Projects. Ensure the identification, management and fulfilment of the System and Functional Requirements for the entire life cycle of the railway project. (Design and Testing)Ensure the identification and management of the rail project Interfaces among the subsystems and external interfaces according to the project scope of work.Ensure the delivery of the rail system engineering technical documents of the project on time, on budget, on quality and the execution of the verification activities of system integration documents, according to the validation and verification plan.Ensure the continuous update of the design standards about system engineering in accordance with process and improvements.Support the implementation of the adequate and effective technical solutions. (e.g. interfaces with customer and suppliers)Guarantee the execution of system engineering studies for the project (fleet sizing calculation, operational scenario issue) and their alignment with the design standards.Ensure the timely and effective performance of System Integration tests.

Desirable

Ability to use ‘Doors’ tool for Requirement Management.Knowledge of train movement simulation toolKnowledge of Transportation System Operation and Maintenance principles.Knowledge of Power, Telecom and SCADA Architectures and functions.
