We are recruiting for a passionate Mid-Level Software Engineer who will be part of our Academic Technology Team. The role will play a key part in the support and development of Cambridge Core, Content Platform applications.

What will you do in this role?

You will often deal with the infrastructure design and programming, research and development of Content Platform applications.

Your other key responsibilities include:

Responsible for the group delivery of the project and working with the team effectively. Responsible with product quality in its integrated level of the development.Work closely with Team Leads, Project Owner. ScrumMaster, Solutions Architects, QA and SRE to ensure that tasks or projects is delivered on time, on budget, on standards and met the requirements.Responsible with the quality of code by adhering to Coding Standards.

What makes you the ideal candidate for this position?

The ideal candidate should have solid software development experience with an aptitude for testing, leadership skills and a community builder through taking part in COPs/guilds and external software test/developer communities.

With at least 2 Years in Java and Groovy experience1 years AWS essentials, Unix experience1 year XML, XSLT experienceGood understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, Git/ Continuous Integration-D deployment pipeline
