Typesetter

As a Typesetter / Designer in the Technical documentation department you format, style and arrange text and illustrations in preparation for printing or publishing. Primarily you will be working on instruction manuals for the European, US and Australian market.

Your Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Translation Team and Technical Writing Team to develop target-language InDesign files 

• Text layout and multilingual typesetting, Desktop Publishing based on clients’ briefing and internal guidelines

The Candidate

The Skills We're Looking For: 

• InDesign Proficiency 

• Native/Fluent English skills, any other language is beneficial 

• Previous typesetting experience, preferably in localization industry (in a Language Service Provider, Translation Department), is a plus 

• Self-organized, hard worker 

• Can work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure to meet tight deadlines
