Merchandising Buyer

Sourcing of suppliers, developing merchandise line and processing purchase orders for the assigned brand/s.Attends trade fairs and factory visits when possible.Maintain and update supplier and item databases.Ensures best quality and price of products, negotiates and maintain supplier relationships.Monitors purchase orders and delivery to stores.Assists with Brand Marketing for branding efforts and strategies pertaining to merchandise collection.Generates and presents analytical reports such as market research, price comparisons, and cost analyses.Reports any issues with suppliers, supply chain, or products to the Merchandising Manager.Gives feedback on competitor activities and new products in the market.Train Sales team on product knowledge, benefits and features.
