FARM SUPERVISOR

Responsible for the operations of the farm such as greenhouses, hydroponics, nursery or natural settings.Assigns work schedules and duties of nursery or greenhouse staff, and supervise their work.Determines types and quantities of horticultural plants to be grown, based on budget, projected sales volume or management directives.Prepares farm budget based on the approved overall farm plan.Prepares schedule of activities of farm operations.Coordinates with farm hands to ensure timely schedule of planting and harvesting.Coordinates with the farm consultants in implementing the approved farm plan.Communicates organizational policies and procedures.Coordinates clerical, record-keeping, inventory, requisitioning, and marketing activities.Prepares reports on project status updates, cost estimates, and farm plans.Recommends materials, supplies and equipment necessary in the conduct of their work.

Job Qualifications:

Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Agriculture.At least five (5) years of farming experience.Licensed Agriculturist or National Certificate holders in Agriculture would have an advantage.Applicant must be willing to be assigned in Cavite.
