职位描述
1. Responsible for receiving of samples and service request for completeness and correctness.
2. Performs evaluation test and chemical analysis of samples required in the service requests which involves the following and related techniques:
2.1. Measurements of properties such as pH, specific gravity, water activity and others.
2.2. Use of laboratory methods such as titration, gravimetric analysis and spectroscopy.
2.3. Determination of the atomic or molecular quantity of one and more components of a substance.
2.4. And other analytical method which characterize matter at the atomic or molecular level.
3. Compile and interpret results of tests and analyses.
4. Prepares evaluation, test and analysis reports of samples.
5. Ensure the control of chemical consumption.
6. Ensure that wastes are properly segregated.
7. Maintain, clean, and sterilize laboratory instruments and equipment.
8. Provide available information to customers in absence of immediate superiors.
9. Ensure safekeeping of records and calculation of Physico-chemical properties or concentration of chemicals.
10. Responsible in preparation and monitoring of laboratory chemicals, materials and reagents and order to maintain supplies.
11. Ensure that all regulated chemicals are properly controlled and monitored.
12. Provide suggestions for improvements needed in the laboratory activities and area to conform to the health, safety and environmental requirements.
13. Identification of unsafe condition and unsafe act, and or both, to prevent accident that may result to loss in time or in life.
14. Perform other duties that may be assigned by superior.
