Lab At Home PH is changing how people get Lab
Lab At Home PH sends labwork (COVID testing, bloodwork like CBC, etc.) to people’s homes in metro manila. People request a lab test from us, and we find the fastest/cheapest lab that has availability that day. This job is for a Medical Tech or Nurse Phlebotomist who will help people stay safe by collecting their bloodwork and other samples at their home!
Job description:
1. Administer Home Service laboratory requests (Covid19 or non-Covid19) based on the extraction schedule set by the Field Medical Operations Supervisor on a daily basis.
2.Secure Sample Collection materials and/or equipment needed for the laboratory requests/service.
3. Proceed to the residence of the patient to perform blood extraction and sample collection. May perform ECG test if with proper training.
4. Assigned to encode and validate patient’s information and details prior to blood extraction. Tasked as well to properly document and transport/send out collected specimens to partner laboratory.
5. In charge of processing collected specimens by following the standards on pre-laboratory handling and storage (proper storage, transport temperature of blood and other body fluids, etc)
6. Tasked to give specific advisories on pre-collection requirements (NPO -Non Per Orem/ required fasting hours) to patients prior to their appointment
7. Responsible in monitoring, maintaining and replenishment of extraction supplies with proper coordination to his/her Field Medical Operations Supervisor.
8. Tasked to disinfect extraction kits and to maintain proper waste segregation and waste disposal.
9. Must strictly adhere and must stay updated to existing Health and Safety protocols for infection protection and control of himself, patients and other members of the team.
