Job Description:

Reviews prescriptions issued by physicians or other authorized prescribers to ensure correctness and accuracy in dispensing pharmaceutical products.Responsible and accountable for the performance of their store including inventory and staff performance.Ensures operations are in full compliance with local health and safety codes of other local government agency codes.Liaise with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to ensure compliance of the company with the regulatory requirements of the agency. This applies to all necessary licenses (License to Operate – Pharmacy, Drug or Cosmetics), permits & registrationAdministers patient counseling as needed.Instruct customers on how and when to take prescribed medications.Providing immunizations, and other medical services, such as taking blood pressure, temperature measurements, and checking blood sugar levels.Completing operational requirements of the pharmacy, including verifying order entries, maintaining records of controlled substances, and charges, and removing expired and/or damaged drugs from the pharmacy’s inventory.Ensuring the work areas are organized and cleanFill up required check sheets and submit reports on time.Complies with all company policiesComplies with all health, safety, and security protocols of the companyPerform other duties that may be assigned from time to time
