CALL RESEARCH ANALYST

Job Summary:  Direct phone calls to the investment community and it needs to be handled in a very professional manner, with very good communication skills. 

Position Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

Identification of shareholder base of stock exchange listed corporate clients through research and direct phone calls to the Investment Management TeamContact a large network of institutions, both on the back office contacts (i.e. compliance, legal etc.) and front office (buy side portfolio managers and analysts) based on the information accumulated from the registers, public filings etc. to obtain approximate holdings.Actively contact mutual fund companies to confirm investment contact(s) and coverage of each contact for Fund/Portfolio Manager/AnalystResponsible for Mini-Perception calls; IR feedback etc.Accurately collect / gather investor commentaryUtilize research tools such as Bloomberg, Internet and additional databases.Be able to undertake ad hoc tasks. The work involved may include internal tasks designed to improve the efficiency of the processes or assisting other teams with projects.
