Senior Accountant / Accounting Supervisor

Senior AccountantRestaurant & Retail Financial Management Group, commonly known as R&Rfmg, is a business process outsourcing company offering various accounting services for clients in the United States engaging in different industries such as restaurants, retail, hospitality, food manufacturing and professional services. It is currently expanding its business here in Asia and now has a newly established a Philippine office based in Tuguegarao City, Cagayan known as R&Rfmg – Asia Pacific. In line to that, it is currently looking for competent CPAs to fill the positions and help achieve the company’s objectives. The company emphasizes the importance of employee development. Hence, it created a comfortable and enjoyable working environment with a culture of Team Work, Client Support, Full transparency and Functional work ethics that promotes both the employee’s growth and work efficiency.Furthermore, the company offers competitive compensation rates and other benefits - including meal and transportation allowances, continuing education tuition reimbursement program and an internship exchange program with the USA office.Job Responsibilities:·        Perform general accounting functions·        Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts·        Analyze financial data·        Prepare weekly and month-end accounting reports·        Prepare financial statements and report according to schedule·        Ensure compliance with GAAP principles·        Support month-end and year-end close process·        Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures·        Perform other accounting duties as required or assigned·        Provide input into department’s goal setting process·        Complete special projects as necessary·        Must be able to multitask and work on several clients in each given day Job Qualifications:·        CPA with at least 1 year relevant experience related to the position·        Preferably with restaurant and retail accounting experience·        Has a solid financial statement skills and understanding of GAAP·        With a strong Excel and ERP skills·        Willing to adapt in a non-traditional work shift to overlap with the US side work hours – from 5am to 2pm·        Highly independent but a team player·        With strong communication skills and fluency in English – verbally and in writing
