Quality Assurance Specialist

Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensure and monitor the quality and consistency of incoming materials through thorough inspection, evaluation and sampling for specifications conformance.Conduct daily WH audit and storage inspection.Develop material specification sheets for undocumented raw and packaging materials.Update specification sheets of existing raw and packaging materials as needed.Conduct comparative analysis and evaluation of all materials with supplier's COA.Receive and evaluate spoilage returns from stores.Perform sensory evaluation of in-process and finished products as needed.Monitor product quality and safety procedures in assigned area.Assist in review and revision of established processes and procedures, documentation, standardization for SSOPs.Assist in raw and packaging materials evaluation for alternative or substitution.Assist in the following as needed: Technology Transfer and Production Launch, and Commissary Staff Training (GMP, SSOP, etc.).Perform other related duties as required by the Quality Assurance Manager.

Qualifications:

Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Food Technology or any related course.Updated technical skills and experience in food quality, with at least 3 years experience in a specialized technical field, or preferably in food manufacturing industry.Knowledgeable in GMP, HACCP and SSOP etc.Good oral and written communication skills.Good self and group organizing skills.Competent in MS Office, Word, Excel, Powerpoint.Willing to be assigned in Cainta, Rizal (near Pasig area).
