Supervisor (CME Supply Operations) - Irasan, Zamboanga Del Norte

Here’s a summary of what you will be doing in this job:This role involves strategic procurement and efficient logistics planning of feedstocks, chemicals and biomass to ensure that the CME plant operating cost is at the lowest possible. He/She is also tasked to do supplier statement reconciliation regularly and support operations with purchasing issues for feedstocks, chemicals and biomass.Success in this role will require you to fulfill the following responsibilities:1. Responsible for the the supply of quality feedstocks, biomass and chemicals at most competitive rates to ensure continuous CME plant operation2. Negotiates rates, terms & conditions, reviews and requests for approval of SLA's in contracts with suppliers to ensure continuity of supply at the best landed cost.3. Monitors the performance of suppliers, assessing their ability to meet quality and delivery requirements; identifies and qualifies new suppliers in collaboration with other departments 4. Acts as the point of contact between suppliers and operations to resolve any purchasing issues5. Performs regular reconciliation between inventory received and supplier figures            6. Collaborates with Operations to improve supply strategic plans                7. Secures buyer for by-products of CME with costs within or greater than the target price.          8. Effectively manages relationships with strategic partners to enable sound partnership arrangements  9. Performs other related functions as may be assigned from time to time.Preferred Qualifications for This Role:Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, or other courses related to logistics, business management, engineering or supply chain managementPreferably with Supply Chain CertificationWith at least 3 years experience in supply chainWith at least 1 year Supervisory experience in supply chainWith at least 1 year supply experience in coconut industryProficient in Google applications, MS Office Suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)Strong communication and presentation skillsWell organized and detail-orientedProject management skillsPossesses effective leadership skillsWilling to do site visits from time to time
