LEGAL ASSISTANT/ LEGAL OFFICER

Candidate must be a graduate of Legal Management/ Business Management or other allied course.With at least 2 years work related experience.With legal experience and/ or legal secretary experience in the law firm and/ or office setting.Candidate must be willing to work/ relocate in Makati City.Has knowledgeable in MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).Responsible for docketing and safekeeping of Legal folders.Assists the Department Head and other Legal Personnel for the preparation and completion of legal documents requested by the Management and other departments.Monitors submission of corporate papers to other departments or government agencies for compliance purposes.Receiving pleadings, orders and other documents.Route them to the respective responsible department head and other personnel for their information and/ or instruction.File documents in their respective folders based on docket numbers as intructed.Monitors submission of legal and corporate documents for compliance purposes to various government agencies.Checks status of pending applications and issuances of any orders, letters, permits, and certificates requested and applied by any companies in the group to any government agencies.Maintains and monitors system to legal matters and regularly update the same for any development.Coordinates with the concerned units and/or departments regarding documentary requirements of pending application and issuance of any orders, letters and certificates.Performs other administrative functions as may be assigned by the department head and other legal personnel and/ or as necessary to ensure a smooth workflow in the department.
