Sales Specialist (OFI)

Responsible for the achievement of the sales objectives for OFI Food Solutions for the foodservice industry includes quick service restaurants, casual dining chains, and the HORECA (hotel, restaurant, and cafe/catering) segment.Will handle, Specialty Fats and Oils, Shortenings, Butter and Margarine, Ready to Use Sauces, Mixes and Seasonings and Specialty Ingredients.Generate sales, gather sales leads, and manage existing accounts by visiting clients, presenting products, and doing courtesy visits.Market research and develop strategies for market penetration and prospecting potential clients.Collaborate with sales and marketing team to execute marketing events, roadshows, and product launchesMaintain good business relationships and promote cross-selling in various product categories.Get client feedback on submitted samples and work closely with Product Design for product improvements and/or tweaking.Provide customer support through coordination of product development, product improvement, or possible ingredient sourcing (to be coordinated with the Business Development Team)Closely coordinates purchase orders and deliveries with MSA(s).Coordinate with Marketing Team for any marketing support requested by clientsCoordinate with Sales Control team collection and credit checking for both new and existing clients.Provide product training and demonstrations, if necessary.

Job Requirements

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Commerce, Marketing or any equivalentAt least 2- 3 years of working experience in the related field for this position.Sales experience in the food manufacturing industry is preferred.Team player with detail-oriented multi-tasking skillsAbility to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentStrong organizational skills; Pro-active problem-solving activities.Highly proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word) and Google applications.Strong English writing and communication skills with excellent presentation skills.Chinese/Mandarin communication skills is an advantage Willing to work Monday - Saturday, 6-day workweek.
