SEO Specialist (Links Outreach)

The SEO Specialist will be in charge of driving SEO growth/link building.

You’ll be in charge of link-building for US & Australian sites under the same group.

This includes hands-on work, coordinating content and adjusting strategy as necessary. The role is five days a week 40 hours (flexible work hours). Plus one team meeting will be conducted on Tuesdays every week. 

Training and manuals will be provided.

This is a remote role.

What you’ll be doing:

Use tools like Ahrefs, Buzzstream, Nightwatch & Google Search operators to audit and discover backlink issues and opportunitiesLeveraging our brands, advertising platforms and content resources to acquire linksResearching potential websites and people for outreach and reaching out to them with customised communication.Committing to links earned targets - once the initial month’s learning/training phase is completePerforming keyword research & working with the content writer to create topics to drive linksDevelop tactics and repeatable methodologies to successfully acquire backlinks for clients in the pets vertical & train team with theseStrategise, build, execute, analyse, and report on link-building/content initiatives Review copywriting to ensure content is suitable for target websiteEnsuring tactics in place to avoid Google penalties with high quality content and non spammy links (no blackhat)Monitoring and promoting blog posts and other content to be used for backlink purposesWorking with a copywriter, marketing team and developer in continuous monitoring and improvement of content and website architecture for better SERP rankingManage and build relationships with vendors and website ownersConsistent monitoring and assurance of the website's healthy backlink profilePerforming competition research to analyze and monitor their backlink and advertising link strategies

We'd love it if you have...

2+ years of professional SEO & link building experienceExcellent English communication skills (fluent)Are driven and competitivePassionate about all things SEO and recognise link outreach as its foundationOpen to learning new and creative ways to get link-building resultsHighly motivated and driven to create impact. Experience in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel & Google Docs
