Every role in SEAOIL contributes significantly to the company. Here’s a summary of what you will be doing in this job:
The Officer (Permits Acquisition - Franchise Conversion Visayas) facilitates application and acquisition of pre-notarization permit requirements for express stations within the assigned area of responsibility. These permits include Barangay Clearance, Zoning Certificate, Neighbor’s Consent (if necessary), and Mayor’s Permit (if necessary).
Success in this role will require you to fulfill the following responsibilities:
1. Ensures acquisition of Barangay Clearance, Zoning Certificate, and other permits necessary for contract notarization
2. Ensures permit application within 14 days from conforme signing
3. Attends and facilitates meetings and hearings with Local Government Units (LGUs) as company (SEAOIL) representative, whenever necessary
4. Ensures that acquired documents and permits are cleared by the Legal Services Team for notarization and Station Turnover and Site Management Team for turnover
5. Ensures that all steps taken for the acquisition of pre-notarization permits are within company policy
6. Generates action plans and seeks necessary approval for out-of-scope cases
7. Submits weekly reports regarding status of pre-notarization permits
8. Maintains extensive account management with LGUs throughout the permits acquisition process
9. Performs other related functions that may be assigned from time to time
Preferred Qualifications for the Role:
Graduate of a four-year course relating to Business, Commerce, or equivalent, and from reputable universitiesIf not a graduate of a business / commerce, must have the required professional experienceWith driver's licenseWith at least one to two years of work experience in permits acquisition, government relations, or legal servicesDemonstrates strong attention to details, organizing skills, communication skills, and adaptability/flexibilityAbove average verbal and written communication skillsWorking knowledge of web-based Google Workspace (formerly, G Suite, and comprises of spreadsheets, documents, and presentations)From any industry but preferably in the Real Estate, Food, or Oil/GasMust be willing to travel / render field workWith experience in long distance drivingKnows how to drive manual transmissionWilling to be on a contractual postA day in the life of an Officer (Permits Acquisition - Franchise Conversion) would involve:
1. Dealing with LGUs to acquire permits to build gasoline stations
2. Frequent travelling and long drives
