ESL Instructor

Enderun Colleges is looking for Part-Time ESL Instructors to teach and educate students according to guidelines provided by the institution's prescribed curriculum under the overall guidance of the ESL Academic Head.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Planning, preparing and delivering lessons to all students in the class;Teaching according to the educational needs, abilities and achievement of the individual students and groups of students;Assigning work, correcting and marking work carried out by his/her students;Assessing, recording and reporting on the development, progress, attainment and behavior of one’s students;Providing or contributing to oral and written assessments, reports and references relating to individual students or groups of students;Advising and co-operating with the ESL Academic Head in the development of courses of study, teaching materials, teaching programs, methods of teaching and assessment.Ensuring high standards of professional practice and quality of teaching and learning of the subject/s.Maintaining good order and discipline amongst students under one’s care and safeguarding their health and safety at all times;Participating in staff, group or other meetings related to the class programs and modulesParticipating in school/company events;Registering and monitoring the attendance of studentsCreating modules, course outlines needed for programs being implemented by Enderun Colleges.Making recommendations on student levels after assessing them through the English Placement Examinations (EPT) and documenting the results to be sent to the necessary parties.Substituting for teachers who are absent if needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degreePreferably a graduate of Education major in EnglishRelevant teaching experience in ESL is an advantageOpen to fresh graduates and career shiftersAmenable to teaching onSITE classes in McKinley Hills, Taguig CityProject may extend based on performanceAvailable to handle AM and/or PM classes, Monday to Friday-
