Driver - Davao

SUMMARY OF JOB: 

The main duty of a Company Driver is to ensure that all shipments and transactions are delivered accordingly.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Below are some, but not limited to, the duties and responsibilities of a Company Driver:

Secures shipments/loads before delivering to customerAssists in loading and unloading of materials, tools, and equipment needed during tripsSecures goods and/or materials, manpower, and equipment for pick-up and deliveryEnsures that the vehicles are kept clean at all times by washing both in and outside parts of the vehicleProvides on-site servicing of manpower during on-site projectsEnsures that the company vehicle is of good condition before travelingGuarantees that the products and staff during travel are protected and securedFamiliarizes routes and destinations in order to provide a fast and hassle-free delivery of equipmentEnsures that all travels are well recorded in the travel log provided by the logistics supervisorConducts preventive maintenance for the company vehicleReports any case of accidents, injuries, or damages of the vehicle to the logistics supervisorAssist in promoting the company’s services to prospects and potential clients

QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

At least high school graduate or any vocational coursesHas a professional driver’s license with level 123 and/or aboveHas background on the basic mechanicHas attended training on defensive driving or any related trainingHas good communication and interpersonal skill that can work well with othersFlexible and willing to work beyond the working hours-
