Reports Analyst | Blended WFH (Open to fresh graduates)

Duty 1: Metrics, Reporting and Analytics

Report Scoping and Planning

Monitors and assigns incoming emails in common mailbox and respond to customer inquiriesUpdates internal trackers and databases to ensure that all transactions/requests are recordedCoordinates and validates with stakeholders on reporting requirements (product quality metrics, new vs. legacy).

Data Gathering

Extracts/generates quantitative and qualitative information from a single or multiple tool (Business Intelligence Tools (i.e.: Power BI, Tableau, etc.)Gathers and collates data from different sources based on approved requirements (Established Simple Reporting)Communicates with resource person to get input/raw data needed for report generationExtracts/generates quantitative information from databases using non-standard queries. (basic and intermediate coding)Performs data validation to achieve data consistency

Data Manipulation

Cleans extracted data using pre-defined guidelines or instructions.Formats extracted data based on expected report output (with batching capability)Formats extracted data based on expected report output. (multiple data formatting requirements)Consolidates and standardize data structure from different data sourcesCombines extracted data from multiple resources using automated tools (excel, macro, database)Combines extracted data from different system tools in one single database using queries (SQL, MS Access)Categorizes and segments extracted data using tools to convert data to information relevant to the report (excel, macro, database)Calculates data using available fields within the gathered information. (basic math and statistics)Creates histograms, charts, summaries as necessary to aid in easy interpretation and better provide decision support to the Marketing and Sales Community

Data Analysis

Gathers and analyzes report requirements from stakeholders. Identify and provide solution to general inquiriesAnalyzes gathered information & data using descriptive analytics (basic mathematics & comparative analysis)Analyzes stakeholder requirements from an existing report and provides improvement and recommendation based on customer request

Reporting

Provides status updates on report development, raise issues encountered and adjust timeline as appropriate.Creates reports based on standard templatesGenerate, analyze, create report/dashboard from different sources and submit to requestorEnhances tools/scripts that can automate the reporting process (Excel Macro, VBA, SQL, Access)Builds new reports, templates and/or dashboards on top of existing business systems (Oracle, CRM, etc.) and makesthem available to all users

Duty 2: Project Support

Continuous Process & Innovation

Identifies continuous improvement project ideas Project InitiationAttends scope reviews to learn what the project request is about.Assists in gathering, analyzing and clarifying customer requirements; uses technical knowledge to gauge complexity of the request

Project Planning

Encodes documentation using standard project templates; stores and organizes the documents to the team repositoryProvides own work estimates and can negotiate turnaround time within the teamLeads project milestone and gate reviewsReduces complexity by breaking down large modules to smaller deliverables ready to be assigned to team membersPerforms research and analysis to validate if the detailed solution is the best fit to meet the requirements

Project Execution

Follows set standards and guidelines of the team.Reports own progress back to project trackerParticipates in cross-functional testing and peer reviewsTroubleshoots and optimizes processes.Creates process standards and guidelines or any development related improvement.

Duty 3: Customer Data Administration

Customer Common Name Database AdministrationReceives assigned customer record/s from Marketing AnalystSearches, validates, adds and/or updates the customer common name and 8-digit SIC Code in a temporary databaseInforms the Marketing Analyst with own progress

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, Economics, Finance, Information Technology, Computer Science or other business or analytics related courses.

Job Related Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in reporting and data analysis.
