General Accountant - Makati

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Prepares bank reconciliation statementsComputes Management fee/ Marketing fees to be charged to affiliatesPrepares lead schedules for certain accounts and consolidates other lead schedulesMonitors clearing account and performs appropriate action to clear out balances (incl. booking of entries or informing revenue accounting of open items)Records journal entries for inter-company transactions and prepares reconciliation of inter-company transactions and balancesPrepares journal entries for amortization of prepaid expenses and intangibles, accruals of interests, and other monthly recurring transactionsPrepares and uploads notes to financial statements on a quarterly basisInputs data on various SAP Masterfile, which includes vendor masterfile, customer masterfile, and cost centersRecommends and implements new procedures to improve accuracy and timelines of work flow and to streamline accounting closing cycleConduct Sarbanes-Oxley testing to various processesSpeaks of ideas clearly and articulately in all presentation and situation may it be for internal or external clients; ensures that the point or idea is well expressed and understoodCorresponds with and generates reports for the clients with all regard for style and languageJOB SPECIFICATIONS:Graduate of Bachelor’s Degree in AccountingMust have at least 6 months to 1 year work experience in Accounting and/or AuditingMust be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
