Data Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work with Business stakeholders in identifying business requirements for analytics projects, products, and programs of work that maximize business impact / benefits within a realistic settingdocument business requirements and deliveries in a continuous manorVisualize process changes in collaboration with business stakeholders and the IT user adoption team, to establish mutual understanding and accountabilityApply business analysis understanding and common sense into day-to-day deliveriesDefine new data collection and analysis processesIdentify traffic trends, pathing issues and opportunities for improving site conversion ratesPerform in-depth analysis of information from multiple data sources (web analytics data as well as external data) and provide significant insights into factors impacting online resultsCreate dashboards for senior management and various business units, synthesizing data from various sourcesEnsure data accuracy by investigating data anomalies to determine if there are any issues, work with IT and Development teams to address issues, log issues to prevent the issue from reoccurringMaintain an awareness of competitive information and key industry trends to provide context for branded website performance

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Demonstrable experience in the retail industryExperience of working with Customer Master Data/ Data ManagementPractical experience of documenting business processes using specified process methodologiesKnowledge and practical experience of mapping retail business processesKnowledge of specified structured analysis techniquesExperience of documenting requirements in a structured templateAbility to rapidly and thoroughly understand the environment in which you will operate (people, applications, technology, process)Excellent communication skillsExcellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to describe findings or the way techniques work to audiences, both technical and non-technicalSelf-driven and motivated with desire to work in a results-driven environment with varied responsibilitiesVery comfortable managing, manipulating and analyzing large data sets • Flexible, adaptable with the demonstrated ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environmentAbility to apply best practice and industry knowledge to improve products or processes

Leadership and management skillsAn interest in, and understanding of, project management techniques and computing systemsWell-versed with digital media concepts/technicalities i.e. website, tagging, user, traffic, conversion funnel, digital campaign data, A/B testing, building segmentations, webpage and mobile app event trackingHas proven experience in Google Analytics, Google Analytics 360, Google Tag Manager, and Data StudioAble to provide analysis and strategic actionable recommendations to increase web traffic, basket size, and sale and improve customer acquisition, engagement, and retentionAble to identify trends and support e-commerce team and decision makers with data to refine existing processes and tools and develop the next generation of activities
