Quality Assurance Supervisor

KEY FUNCTIONS:

Receives all products (direct imports and local purchases) delivered to the cold storage facility and ensures product quality and standards are met at all times (Inbound Receiving)Prepares Receiving Report and ensures all pertinent attachments are complete (product food safety documents i.e. COMI, Health Cert, etc. must be complete at all times)evaluates all products received and prepare a Product Specifications Sheet for all products.Prepares and handles all food safety-related documents (i.e. COMI, VQMILC) and all attachments prior to delivery (Outbound)Monitors and ensures FIFO for all productsAddresses and handles QA-related customer complaints (CAPA, NOATS, Letter of Guarantee, etc.).Audits food handling practices and audits cold storage facilitiesLeads and facilitates the Customer Audit process of clients of Cold Storage facilitiesAudits and recommends Process Flow improvements and guidelines.Handles food safety permits from different government agencies (BAI, NMIS, BFAR) annually.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor Degree of Science preferably in Food Science or related field (Meat Science, Biology, Microbiology, Food Microbiology, etc.).and Food TechnologyHas a proven experience in Food Industry esp. meat frozen goodsAbility to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs; ability to lead others through change.Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.Amenable to work in Navotas City
