Collect, calculate and enter data to process end to end payroll on a fortnightly basisPrepare Superannuation, PAYG, Payroll tax and Workers Insurance reconciliation and filingPrepare information for new employees’ contracts and update for existing employeesSet up employee pay details in Payroll System and manage payroll changesComplete assigned tasks as part of onboarding and offboarding employees, follow up with managersMonitor and manage leave requests in Payroll SystemManage employee assets register in payroll systemManage Workplace Safety claims documentation through Payroll System

Accounting

Reconcile bank transactions in Xero – dailyCredit Card and inter-company reconciliations – monthlyComplete all standard inter-company billings in XeroComplete templated end of month journals including pre-payment and accrual processesPrepare supplier payment reports for authorization from Xero – weeklyPrepare batch payment files from Xero and send remittance advices – weekly

Key Skills & Experience

Degree Qualified with a minimum of 3 years commercial experience.Experience in payrollExperience in multi-entity fast paced environments.Strong numerical skills and high attention to detail are a mustAbility to prioritise and manage own workloadConfident and capable, with strong verbal & written communication skillsStrong Influencer skillsTakes ownership for behaviour and integrity of workWorks effectively as part of a small teamHigh level of competency in Microsoft Office suite including Excel, Word
