职位描述
Reports to: General Manager, President, Logistics Controller, Office of Chief Finance Officer
QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy (BSA)Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)At least 3 years experience as Chief AccountantHas background on all Accounting functionsWith certificates on Tax related seminar, Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and/or International Financial Report Standards (IFRS) related seminarsWith PICPA membership or affiliationWith experience in Accounting System Set-up, Financial Report Preparation, Budget Preparation, Strategic Planning, Tax-related activities, Internal and external audit activities, Process analysisDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Manage and oversee the entire accounting team. Primarily responsible in the development of staff and establishment of goals and objectives.
2. Responsible for adapting an accounting system to meet the needs of the company.
3. Review corporate and personal income tax returns to ensure accuracy.
4. Provides administrative direction in the preparation of annual reports and financial management, shareholders and government agencies.
5. Maintains compliance with government mandates or regulations at all times.
6. Assures the accounting reporting systems and procedures are in compliance with the company’s and government policies and rules.
7. Recommends actions or alternatives to be taken by management when accounting data discloses unfavorable trends or deviations.
8. Provides technical advice and services to operating managers, interpreting accounting reports and statements, and identifying problem areas.
9.Participates in the preparation of annual business plan, budgets, reports and other financial and statistical reports.
10. Other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
