Strong analytical and critical thinking skillsHands-on experience in working with any electrical, computer, or IT systems. Experience in RF systems and/or telco equipment systems is an advantage.Strong foundation in telecommunication technologies and eagerness to develop in this area. Willing to be trained and supervised.Has great interest for community development through ICT and its applications.Able to do fieldwork on short notice and extended duration of time. Fieldwork assignments may include travel to remote and rural communities in the PhilippinesA good team player, but can also do tasks unsupervisedExperience with basic lab equipment including spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power supplies is an advantageDuties and Responsibilities:

Under general supervision and direction, HE/SHE shall:

Deploy the system in the identified project sites and conduct knowledge sharing/tech transfer regarding usage and operation of the RuralCasting system;Assist in the operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of the system for the stakeholder and DOST-Regional Office;Assist in the preparation, assembly, and testing of the system prior to scheduled deployments;Participate in events and other activities (e.g., exhibits, meetings, and seminars) necessary in the implementation of the Project; andWork closely with the Project Leader/Team Leader and Project Manager regarding project plans, requirements, concerns, problems, and other matters.Application documents:
