Accounts Payable - Freight Expense | Alabang | Night Shift

Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for the accuracy of AP transactionsA lot of dedicated freight / transportation expensesBOL log – (Bill of Lading) log created when shipments are determinedCompare shipping invoice to the BOL logBOL log is pre-approval for shipments.Manual quotes / not Purchase Orders.Route to shipping mgr for approval if differenceOversee AP workflow, ensuring all invoices are recorded timely and accurately with appropriate level of approvalMaintain and monitor vendor accountsAssisting in generation of monthly AP Aging reports for the client’s ControllerReconcile AP GL and SLPerforms other duties assigned by his/her supervisorOrganized and with keen attention to detailsAnalyze variances on trend (month over month) and versus budget

 Requirements:

Bachelor of Science in Accounting graduate with at least 4 years of experiencewith Freight expenseWorked in a shipping/Transporation industryConversant in US GAAPWilling to work on Fixed Night ShiftAmenable to work in a temporary work from home set-upWilling to be assigned in Alabang once WIO resumes
