QUALIFICATION
Eligibility:
PO 2nd Class, Police Senior Inspector (1991), Police Inspector (1992 onwards), RA 1080, RA 6506, PD 907, CSP, CSC PO Exam (July 1998 onwards) Eligibilities acquired as a result of the qualifying examinations that were conducted on October 10, 2004, April 26, 2008 and May 30, 2009 shall be used solely for change of status of appointment which is from temporary to permanent and shall not be used for promotion; Higher police eligibilities (resulting from examinations given by NAPOLCOM) shall be recognized as appropriate for ranks requiring lower eligibilities.

Training:
Public Safety Officer Basic Course (OBC), Police Intel Officer Course, Finance Officer Basic Course, Police Intelligence Officers Course (PIOC) prior to 2008, Basic Intelligence Course for Constabulary/INP Officers (BICCIO) until the last batch of graduates, Finance Officers Basic Course attended prior to 2008, Naval Officer Qualification Course, Basic Air Force Officer Course, Infantry Basic Course Technical Service Officers are required to undertake any of the abovementioned training courses to be qualified for promotion.
Work Experience:
3 years as Police Lieutenant (PLT)
