R&D Engineer

Job Description 

Design, develop, and debug software Develop documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, and code comments Create development schedule and follow it as planned Participate in design FMEA Work with hardware development team for software and hardware integration Support design for manufacturing Support software test validation team Ensure procedures of data security are followed Ensure intellectual properties are well respected in all time 

Requirements 

Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering) or equivalent Programming skills in C, C++, and/or C# Applicants with the following knowledge will be an added advantage: Knowledge of microcontroller architecture (ARM, 8051) Knowledge of electronic component characteristics and their limitations Knowledge of in-circuit debugger, JTAG debugger, and similar tools Knowledge of STM microcontroller Knowledge on embedded OS FreeRTOS/Linux Experience using electronic instrumentation such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, power meters, and/or network analyzers Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently. Work location is based at Bayan Lepas, Penang, Malaysia.
