QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidate must be a graduate of Electrical engineeringAt least 2 years of working experience in estimating and quantity surveying preferably from construction industryMust have knowledge and experience in estimation, quantity take off, costing and pricingWilling to be assigned in Sucat, Paranaque City.

JOB DEscriptION:

Assisting in the preparation of estimates for submission on the time and in the most competitive price. This includes:Derive the requirement for subcontractor and solicit subcontract priceAssess and compare subcontractors’ submissionprice work, direct and indirect costs using appropriate computer programevaluate alternative schemes for tender submissionAttend meetings with client, suppliers, subcontractors and joint venture partners to brief on the programme and method of constructionCompile tender schedules, program and other items required by the tender.Conduct site inspections for tender understanding, analysis of conditions, assessment of risk and identification of activities that may or may not be shown in the tender documents.Compile relevant tender information into benchmark & estimate price.Handle the step-by-step preparation of estimatesSubcontractor requirement and priceCosting using computer programs (Candy, Excel, etc.)MethodologyManpower scheduleEquipment utilization scheduleSafety and quality plansAssist the Estimating Section Head in producing the tender file for handover to the Operations Head and attend the Handover meeting as requested
