Technical Service Engineer

Toyota Motor Philippines is looking for a Technical Service Engineer to join our Technical Service Department based in Santa Rosa City, Laguna, Philippines.

The Technical Service Engineer is a member of the EDER (Early Detection Early Resolution) Section that is responsible for facilitating field technical handling for product quality improvement.

In this role, you are expected to be a domain expert in data analysis and technical report writing and presentation.

Your role and responsibilities: 

Conduct Field Technical handling of assigned model's product quality improvement.Conduct New Model Introduction Activities for assigned model/s.Facilitate technical service information management for product quality improvement monitoring.Develop or conduct technical service information training module.Facilitate Field Market Survey for regional affiliates.Conduct Go and See activity to promote Product Quality Improvement.Conduct dealer operations audit and implement kaizen activities.

Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Automotive Technology or equivalent.Preferably with basic or advance Automotive knowledge.Preferably with knowledge in automotive theory and application.You have achieved a satisfactory level of technical and professional skill or knowledge in position-related areas and are keeping up with current developments and trends in areas of expertise.You are capable of obtaining information and identifying key issues and relationships relevant to achieving a long-range goal or vision; committing to a course of action to accomplish a long-range goal or vision after developing alternatives based on logical assumptions, facts, available resources, constraints and organizational values.You are proactive; taking prompt action to accomplish objectives and taking action to achieve goals beyond what is required.You set high standards of performance for self and others; assume responsibility and accountability for successfully completing assignments or tasks; self-impose standards of excellence rather than having standards imposed.You are an actively participating member of a team, moving the team toward the completion of goals.
