Cybersecurity Engineer 2

The Cyber Security Engineer 2 – Professional Service will be responsible for monitoring, day-to-day platform administration and analysis of security incidents in relation to assigned technology platform on-site or off-site customer’s premises. They must be able to analyze all available information including logs, network traffic and all other data emanating from security systems in place to determine the existence of security breaches and all other related incidents. They will ensure all security systems are up to date in terms of software and hardware changes. They will plan & document all data and information relating to the security platform being handled.

In addition, Cyber Security Engineer 2 is responsible to providing technical guidance to juniors and generate weekly and monthly technical reports for management consumption.

QUALIFICATIONS

Graduate of any collegiate course preferably in the field of Information and Communication TechnologyWork related experience of at least two (2) up to four (4) year in security engineering or administration.Working experience in different security technologies such as Firewalls, IPS, Endpoint Security, Email Security and other similar security solutions.Fundamental knowledge in Attacker Techniques and Security Incident Response desiredUnderstanding with different cloud and networking technology is a plusSecurity certification such as Security +, CYSA+ , CEH or Equivalent is requiredAttentive to details and meticulous with documentation, and processes.Excellent work ethics, hardworking with good interpersonal skills Driven and goal-orientedWilling to be assigned on client’s office (within metro manila)The position may be on-call (remote) from time to time
