We're looking for our next Lead, Accounting

The Lead, Accounting is responsible for providing the day-to-day accounting and financial services activities for the Accounting shared services function related but not limited to data analysis, recording, reconciliation, periodic close, reporting, taxation, and audit. 

Some of the things you’ll be doing

Handle day-to-day operational responsibilities such as but not limited to data analysis, recording, reconciliation, review, periodic close, reporting, taxation, and auditPerform and resolve complex issuesCreate, update and maintain process manual and documentationsImprove, modify and standardize proceduresEnsure coverage and oversee load balancing activities at any given dayServe as the primary contact for the assigned process(es) /location.; Also, point of contact for escalationMay be assigned to handled related assignments and may receive these from more than one personEnsure team process improvement project is realizedDevelop tactical plans the team will use to reach its goalDevelop, evaluate and implement metrics and timelinesMonitor evaluate and report metrics to management. Provide solution to issues.Capitalize team by knowing each member’s strengths, weaknesses and motivationsProvide/identify any training that team members needResponsible to line manager for resource management -planning, recruiting, talent retentionDuties, responsibilities and activities may change, or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice

What we are looking for

Take own initiative but direct line manager is available to provide amendment or development/ of new practices/procedureManage the unit goals and metrics in relation to the assigned process while providing excellent customer serviceHandle concerns, issues and deliverables in a timely and accurate manner.Practice delegating tasks to members, including oneself. Require zero to minimal supervision.Collaborate effectively and harmoniously with other member(s)/unit(s) of the departmentGraduate of B.S in Accountancy; with professional license, advance or equivalent educationAt least 5-8 years of combined general accounting background, 3-5 years of supervisory experience and 3 years exposure to a BPO/shared service environmentProficient on any accounting system
