BOOKKEEPING SUPERVISOR | WORK FROM HOME

We are looking for a qualified and proficient Bookkeeper with managerial experience to manage Bookkeeping tasks for a New Zealand-based accounting firm. You will be responsible for training and managing the workflow of junior Bookkeepers, as well as undertaking bookkeeping activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, payroll, GST and management accounts for our growing client base. 

Roles & Responsibilities: You will work with the Manager, helping train you in technical knowledge and reviewing your work

Accounts Payable/ReceivableBank reconciliationsPayrollGST preparation and reviewManagement account preparation and reviewBudget preparation and reviewPrepare journal entries for accrual and book adjustmentsTrain junior team members and review their workManage Bookkeeping team workflowLiaise with external clients on some occasions to ensure deadlines are met and excellent customer service is providedCreate and maintain training resources to improve internal processesOther tasks may be assigned by your superior from time to time

QUALIFICATION & SKILLS

Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree, Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam) in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent preferred.Managerial ExperienceXERO ExperienceAt least 5 years of working experience as a Bookkeeper Excellent communication skills and confidenceAbility to manage and prioritise workloadWillingness to learn and can adapt to changeAbility to work autonomously and in a teamEye for DetailHighly organised
