JOB DEscriptION
Accountant
(BAS & IAS, Tax Return (end to end), Payroll, Superannuation, Bank Reconciliation, Financial Statements, and Bookkeeping)
Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare work papers, financial statements, and various reports for each client entity.
● Preparation of BAS, IAS and tax returns for each client entity, end to end
● Conduct payroll, and superannuation payments for clients, as required.
● Reconciling the company’s bank statements and bookkeeping ledgers
● Completing analysis of client financial data
Managing income and expenditure accounts
● Generating the company’s financial reports using income and expenditure data
● Keeping a check on the company’s finances based on financial status
● Filing and remitting taxes and other financial obligations
● Initiating and managing financial and accounting software used by the company
● Assisting management in the decision-making process by preparing budgets and financial
forecasts.
● Keeping informed and ensuring compliance with current legislation relating to taxation, finance and accounting
Qualifications and Experience:
● Minimum 3 years of AU Accounting experience (BAS & IAS, Tax Return (end to end),
Payroll, Superannuation, Bank Reconciliation, Financial Statements, and Bookkeeping)
● Experience in XERO, MS 365, MS Excel, Spreadsheet
● Excellent communication skills verbal and non-verbal
● High attention to details
● Strong organizational and time management skills
● Analytical and problem-solving abilities
● Ability to Multitask
● A team player and friendly
● Self-Motivated and able to take initiative
● Adapt to culture/environment of the Client
● Experience in SMSF is a plus
● Experience in BGL is a plus
