JUNIOR LEGAL COUNSEL

JOB DEscriptION :

Discuss case details with clients, attorneys, and other professionals. Prepare legal correspondence, affidavits, and other documents for attorneys. Aid in trial preparation and assist with other tasks when required. Prepare legal documents like briefs, contracts, wills, pleadings, and appeals.

Legal Counsels are responsible for advising executive members on new laws, existing ones, and legal rights that would impact the functionality of their business. They oversee all aspects within this sphere, including acting as its representative; maintaining knowledge about the company's documents and operations.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ø Directly reports to Legal Counsel Head of the organization.

Ø Give accurate and timely counsel to executives in a variety of legal topics (labor law, partnerships, international ventures, corporate finance etc.)

Ø Specify internal governance policies and regularly monitor compliance

Ø Research and evaluate different risk factors regarding business decisions and operations

Ø Apply effective risk management techniques and offer proactive advice on possible legal issues

Ø Draft and solidify agreements, contracts and other legal documents to ensure the company’s full legal rights

Ø Provide clarification on legal language or specifications to everyone in the organization

REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS

Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree, Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam) in Political Science, Law or equivalent.Proven experience as a Legal Counsel in business environmentExcellent knowledge and understanding of corporate law and proceduresFull comprehension of the influences of the external environment of a corporationDemonstrated ability to create legal defensive or proactive strategiesHigh degree of professional ethics and integritySound judgement and ability to analyze situations and informationOutstanding communication skills
